It's all about
surfaces
Breaching barriers
Black arcing beluga backs
and tenebrous minkie fins
Passing gestures
Curious passings
Through white caps
Slicing through rip tides
I'd like to
surface
Occasionally
Surface in a new atmosphere
And eject the effluvia
Of complacency
out
of my blowhole
And plunge (sublimated)
back into
the breathably familiar.
