Word Origami
Word Origami is challenging derivation on Lewis Carroll's Doublets game. Word Origami permits letterbanking, as well as letter swapping and anagramming. Beat par. Carroll would have loved this one, as the source and target words need not be of equal length.

Turn the FUTURE into the PAST

Transform
FUTURE  into PAST by:

1. LETTER SWAP: change one letter of the word to produce another [1 point];
2. ANAGRAM the word into another [2 points];
3. LETTERBANK the word into another [3 points].

Each step must be discrete; you may not combine two transformations into one step.
