infinite bandwidth

Down infinitesimally
narrow
photon-wide
phosphorescent
fluid
flowing
conduits
it comes.

A deluge of data,
A google of goggle
Kilobytes of kitsch
A smattering of mattering
Browsal arousals
A wad of pornography
An MP3 exempt of a fee
A wham-bang thank you spam.

It's a
desktop digital deluge,
Laptop thunderclap
filterable into scrollable folders
Drilled six levels deep.

Marooned on my analog isle
I'm a Yahoo
Surrounded by online brine
"Data, data everywhere, and not a byte to whet."

Maybe I should have built a digital ark,
With my own hands
Of finite dimensions
And ridden upstream
